Sometimes the bad guys are the good guys.
Leverage is in its 2nd season and I love it. The premise of the show it that 4 of the characters are basically ex-criminals while the mastermind is a recovering alcoholic that was a claim adjuster/investigator who's son died because the company he worked for refused to have their medical pay for the treatment that would save his son. As a result of the death of his son, he turns to alcohol and then becomes involved with these criminals but not to commit crimes for their own benefit, to commit crimes for the benefit of other innocent people who've been screwed by the system. Basically, they're like modern day Robin Hoods.
The best part of the show is how they pull off t he crimes. The plot is always twisted, kind of like Ocean's 11 when you realize in the end how they pulled off their heist. I'm hooked. So please, if you're thinking of calling me on Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. and I don't answer the phone, it is totally because I ignored your phone call so I can watch Leverage. Sorry.
Suckiest TV Show: America's Best Dance Crew
Normally, I'd be a total ABDCholic. I even have it on recurring DVR even though they repeat each episode like 50 times. Last season, I swear I must have called in about 100 votes for Quest Crew. (Hok is sooo cute! I wanna just pinch his cheeks.) This season, everybody pretty much sucks. I don't feel like there's any crew that I'd pick up a phone for. I miss Fanny Pack. My top 3 ABDC teams - Jabbawockees, Fanny Pack and Quest Crew.
I don't feel like wasting any DVR memory for this season's suck ass show. Boo ABDC.
